Owner & Founder

Steve has been in the transportation industry since the early 80’s, beginning with a stint at Emery Worldwide. Growing up in Detroit with a large family, Steve continues to value time with his wife, Heather, and three children — including his colleague, Hope. Steve lives in Dublin, Ohio, but loves to get outside to more adventurous locations like the Appalachian Trail.

Operations Manager

Brenda has been a part of the trucking industry for over 30 years. She joined Hyper Transportation in July 2019 after her husband hauled a load for Steve. She currently enjoys living a simple life with her husband and dogs in Hubbard, Ohio.  She is a coffee fanatic and enjoys hiking, animal training and amateur photography in her spare time.

Operations Manager

Jenn has worked in the transportation industry for the last 11 years, including owning and dispatching for a small trucking company. She joined the Hyper Transportation team in August of 2020. She has two sons and one daughter and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. In her free time she likes to cook, try new recipes, and enjoy the outside with her family.

Account Management

Hope formerly worked as a Paraprofessional in the public school system for 5 years. In 2018, she joined her father, Steve Smith, in the family business. She currently resides in North Royalton, Ohio with her husband Bill, two sons Lucas and Henry and the family dog Leo. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside with her son and quality time with family and friends.

Account Management

Misty has worked in trucking dispatch since 2003 with various trucking companies. She joined the Landstar family back in 2005, and left for a brief period after having children. She joined the Hyper Transportation team in 2019. She loves spending time with family and friends, and her hobbies include camping, gardening, and star gazing.

Operational Support

Karicia is from Columbus, OH and has lived there all her life. Prior to joining Hyper Transportation, she had been working alongside her father and his trucking company. Outside of work she loves to pursue her interest in literature and film, and especially silent film.
